Why I love Raw Food

Some say Raw is great and some think we are crazy to even think raw is good?  I think people don't understand the importance of Raw and what it really does for us.   If you look at it from a Mother nature standpoint  all of these products we share in the world come from her.   I don't think she approves of man made food.    Eat what is proper and that is Raw food!

The gastroesophageal reflux disease or GERD is a graver form of digestive disorders, quite common in the times of now. This kind of suffering occurs due to the spontaneous opening of the lower esophageal sphincter or LES, a valve present at the lower end of the esophagus i.e. the tube which carries food from mouth to stomach. When this happens for several times and for an unspecific duration each…

Young Coconut

We opened our first young coconut today! It was hilarious! At first my boyfriend wanted to throw it on the ground to open it and I caught him just in time! We got onto YouTube and watched a tutorial. After that it was easy. We don't have a cleaver but a large knife was just fine. We scraped out the meat in one scoop with a rubber spatula and poured it along with the water into the blender and made a smoothie. Yum!! I discovered on one of my assorted fruit and vegetable hunting trips that the… Continue

US private label food market forecasts to 2013

In keeping with many other parts of the world, the US has a steadily expanding market for private label foods. Although it has been slower to gain a foothold compared with European nations such as the UK, more US consumers are now turning towards private label foods in the face of the economic downturn. Demand has also risen as a result of other factors, such as increasing food-price inflation and the wider availability of a greater range of private label foods. Since 2003, the US private label… Continue
