Raw Weight Loss It is just too simplistic to declare that all people who are overweight are carrying those extra pounds because they consume too many calories, they don't exercise enough or their bodies are overly acidic. We can't say this because we all know at least a handful of fortunate souls with magic bodies. People that can eat like pigs, eat only foods that are damaging to the body, people who do no exercise in the process and yet never gain a pound.

The fact is every body is different. Put two people on the same diet and those people will not gain the same results. Weight loss on the raw food diet is almost a given, but how much you lose, how quickly and how easily you do it, will differ, if just slightly to the person sitting next to you.

While you may be one of the 'unfortunate' people who has tried thousands of diets, with little success, don't lose heart, please. Dr. Norman Walker, an American expert on raw foods and their powers, said, "...without exception, every person I have ever known during the last forty years who has gone on this program (the raw food diet) has not only been able to overcome weight problems but has been able to prevent worse calamities, even when surgery was recommended."

Every person.

Though you may wish you were one of the aforementioned magical bodied people, there is no reason to envy these people. In fact, it may be you that is more fortunate. If you were someone who didn't need to watch their weight, and had quite a sweet tooth, well, you would consume as much you wished, wouldn't you? Although an acid condition and excess calories may not manifest itself as extra weight in a thin person, you can be sure that it is manifesting itself in a different, perhaps more dangerous, way.

If your extra weight has brought you to the raw food world, be thankful that it did so.

To really speed up your weight loss, here are some recommendations.

Eat. You need to reverse your mindset of counting calories and consuming as little as possible. Raw food is your friend. Your body needs it in order to cleanse itself. Make sure you get lots of fats and sugars, as these are essential for your energy, your bodies ability to cleanse itself and your general well-being.

Don't be afraid to eat but do try to steer clear of very heavy foods such as dried fruit and dehydrated products. These foods are fine in moderation but you should be looking to increase your consumption of easily digested foods such as sprouts, fruits and juices. Make digestion as easy on your body as possible so that it can focus on cleansing itself.

Get into a daily habit of making yourself a fresh green juice upon waking. Add apples if you must to sweeten it. Put the juice in a bottle or a portable cup and take a walk around your neighborhood. This will set you up on the right track every day, with great nutrition and a touch of exercise.

Drink plenty of lemonade. Lemons are incredibly alkalizing and cleansing for the body. They will cleanse you, making your bodies task of getting rid of excess weight that bit easier.

Get out of breath as often as possible. Aside from doing regular aerobic exercise, such as running, cycling or swimming, which is essential for every body, you should just aim to be as active as possible. Get your heart beating faster, as often as you can will increase your metabolism.

Consume plenty of sprouts. These also are very alkalizing and are so nutritious that they act as an injection of nutrients into your body, which is just what you need in order to make your body strong and lean.
